Real estate news on Keys Hotels launches second hotel in Kochi

MUMBAI: Mid-market hotel brand Keys Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its hotel in Kochi, its second property in Kerala and 16th hotel across India.

Kochi is one of the top destinations for international and domestic tourists and a recent survey conducted by the Nielsen ranks it as the sixth best tourist destination in India.

Hotel Keys Kochi is located close to Kerala's backwaters and in proximity to M G Road, Fort Cochin and the Info Park.

"..With the launch of Keys Kochi, we have strengthened our presence in Kerala and further strengthened our presence in South India. It reaffirms the rapid growth story of the brand," Anshu Sarin, CEO, Berggruen Hotels said in a press statement.

The 151-room hotel will offer banquet facilities for conferences and receptions, apart from a foid and beverage outlet.

The hotel has dedicated 10 rooms for women travelers which have been designed to cater to their specific needs and requirements. They are located on a separate floor which is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance. Additionally, video door phones installed in each of these rooms help guests identify the person at the door before letting them in.

Similarly, the hotel also has a specially designed room to meet requirements of the differently-abled guest.

Keys Hotels, funded by New York-headquartered Berggruen Holdings, has total of 35 hotels in India including those under development and has been growing through management contracts and franchise.
